Ishvari yoga offers a variety of classes including complete beginners, classic yoga, vinyasa flow, power yoga and meditation. Our classes cater for all abilities from complete beginners to advanced students.
Classic yoga, also known as hatha yoga, the most common branch of yoga is practiced by millions of people worldwide. Hatha meaning “force” alludes to the physical techniques known as Asanas which are held for a number of breaths allowing participants to improve mobility, strength, flexibility, breathing techniques, balance and focus.
Flow yoga, or Vinyasa flow as it is more commonly know incorporates hatha yoga asanas with the use of breathworks to flow from one posture to the next.
Power yoga is a fitness based vinyasa practice focusing on building internal heat, increasing stamina, strength and flexibilty as well as reducing stress.
All classes offer progressive yoga training allowing students to develop and improve their practice as the classes progress in difficulty throughout each term. Adaptations and progression are offered to suit all yoga abilities so even if you begin classes mid-term options are given for complete beginners whilst allowing remaining students to improve in their ability.
